Perform the task in the indicated mission to unlock bonus missions where you can get new units.

Mission 10: Capture the city east of your HQ.	Mission 11 (black boats)
Mission 13: Capture the city in the northeast corner.	Mission 14 (black bombs)
Mission 16: Find the map in the southeastern most city on the small island with the com tower.	Mission 17 (Spiral Garden)

Have Advance Wars 1 or 2 inserted in your DS at the same time as Dual Strike to unlock the Prequel Bonus Maps at the Battle Maps Shop.
